The AWS Early Career Talent Team is hiring a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, to lead a diverse portfolio of programs and teams. Reporting to the Director of AWS Early Career Talent, this is a highly visible senior leadership role with responsibility for the AWS Apprenticeship Program, AWS Military Talent Recruiting Team, Recruitment Strategy for Amazons Arlington, Virginia, Headquarters region (AHQ), and the development of new programs to expand our talent pipeline.

Key areas where this leader will have a lasting impact include identifying, launching, and nurturing partnership programs to define sourcing strategies, establishing new pipelines of talent for cloud computing careers, and leveraging internal and external partners. This includes developing strategies and building recruitment delivery plans with your team to fulfill annual hiring requests for our business. This leader will partner with the Amazon Global Military Affairs organization to align to enterprise wide strategies, influencing across multiple recruiting teams to further Amazons commitment to hiring transitioning military veterans and military spouses. You will play a key role representing AWS in the community, partnering with community organizations, academic institutions, as the company expands and hires in our AHQ region.

This is a builder role that has broad reach and influence, owning strategy, implementation, and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, have a natural curiosity for exploring new and creative solutions, and be able to inspire and motivate their team to delight customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
10 years professional experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Program Management, or related field.
5 years people management or team/project leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in one or more of the following areas: University Relations and Recruitment Programs, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Programs, Military and Veteran Programs, Alternate Talent and Upskill Programs, Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources leadership roles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations, including leading teams through change
Strong operational leadership and analytical skills
