Job Description

Position Summary

The Head of eCommerce Supply Chain is responsible for leading a high-performing team through strategy and execution around customer supply chain, innovative logistics solutions, and network design. This role works with other senior supply chain & operations leaders within the company, with customers, and across the industry. Internally, this team is directly responsible for ship-to-home and direct-fulfillment customers and indirectly for click & collect and last-mile delivery customers. However, this role must lead the strategy and change management needed for KHC long term eCommerce supply chain needs.

The role interacts closely with the sales organization, data analytics (digital shelf), finance, and other verticals within eCommerce. As the Head of Supply Chain is located outside the central logistics reporting structure, the ability to partner with, influence and drive results without direct reporting lines is critical. This includes close interactions with the Head of Logistics, Warehousing Ops, Transportation, Customer Service, and brick-and-mortar customer supply chain leads. More specifically, this leader is responsible for simplifying a complex network of multiple nodes, reducing assortment inefficiencies, and driving ordering and transportation efficiencies. This will require strategic thinking, a six-sigma based approach to prioritize and solve complex problems and utilize high judgement to drive trade-offs.

Externally with the customer, this role will have to partner with and influence order management initiatives to improve online availability while also testing and innovating new supply chain solutions to get products to consumers faster and more efficiently. This includes but is not limited to convenience channels, dark stores, dark kitchens, marketplaces, drop-ship, and others. Externally with vendors, this person will negotiate new and existing service contracts.

This role is key in transforming eCommerce into a highly agile organization to enable sustained growth.

Primary Responsibilities

* Fully own the eCommerce Supply Chain & Operations strategy to maximize service levels directly for all customers, addressing key operational metrics including item availability, fill rate, and on-time delivery.
* Enable our eCommerce Sales teams to develop and grow strategic partnerships for both new and existing customers, including but not limited to direct fulfillment capabilities.
* This role will work with external replenishment leaders and industry leaders with operational test sites and will be responsible for DTC, not only testing and launching but also working through assortment.
* Own end-to-end team strategy, drive tradeoffs on operational changes, efficiencies and have strong influencing capabilities.
* This position will play a major strategic leadership role in the business, supporting planning for eCommerce beyond supply chain including channel strategy, global expansion and category leadership.
* The Head of Business Operations will lead connectivity with the Business Units, working with Presidents on process design and implementation.
* Ability to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for inventing cutting edge ideas to drive innovation and results.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree highly preferred
* A minimum ten (10+) years of Supply Chain experience is required, preferably within CPG working across a portfolio of products and highly preferably with some eCommerce experience
* Prior people management experience required
* Leadership credentials in driving strategy and execution
* Proven ability to prioritize and solve complex problems
* Proven ability to distill insights and drive impact into an organization bringing the consumer to forefront
* High level of tolerance for working in ambiguity, managing change and driving change management
* Proficient at storytelling in creative and impactful ways - excellent communication, organization and presentation skills (written, oral, and across Microsoft Office Suite)
* Six sigma master black belt is a plus
* Advanced communication and influencing skills for internal and external partners
