Assembly and Test Technology Development Computer Science Graduate Intern:

* Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature.
* U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
* Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Seeking a motivated engineer that thinks outside the box when problem solving.

* Candidates will be fundamentally improving the Lid attach equipment and/or data analysis as their primary Role and responsibility.
* Candidates will need a fundamental understanding of relational databases, Machine Learning, scripting (i.e. Python, JSL, R, Rust).
* Qualified candidates need to be able to close projects on time and autonomously (with proven results).
* Successful candidate will use predictive modeling, statistics, Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structure and unstructured data.
* Candidate will develop algorithms and applications to apply statistical modelling to data, perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy.
* Candidate will consult with engineer to design and analyze experiments, teach established statistical analysis Best Known Methods to engineering communities and develop new statistical methods as needed.

Demonstrated successes required in more than one area:

Relational database structures, Machine Learning, scripting e.g, JSL and programming languages e.g, Python, R, research methods, Big Data technologies, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, predictive modeling, probability and statistics, Design of Experiments, Process Controls systems and other data analysis techniques to apply innovative solution for solving complex engineering problems.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Requirements

* Pursuing a master's degree or PhD degree in Statistics or Computer Science or Software Engineering or Materials Science or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
* 6+ months of statistics and/or programming experience.

Preferred

6+ months of experience (preferred not required) with:

Python:

* Pandas, matplotlib, plotly, bokeh
* Creating dashboards

SQL:

* Data pooling using Python or SQL

Databases:

* Mongo, Oracle, Postgre

Statistics:

* Probability distributions, statistical significance, hypothesis testing, and regression
* Clustering
* ML/AI + Bayesian networks
