Job Description

The Program Coordinator will coordinate activities related to the Active Living after Cancer Program, a program focusing on improving physical functioning and quality of life of cancer survivors through increasing their physical activity. The Program Coordinator will serve as the health educator and online training tools developer for the program, and will screen and recruit program participants, plan future class education sessions, deliver class educational sessions, and ensure proper program delivery. This position is also responsible for coordination and operation of online educational activities and requires a very thorough knowledge of working with a diverse population and experience providing cancer health information.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Program Initiation and Support:

* Coordinates the development and implementation of virtual program training for program implementers, participant materials, and evaluation standard operating procedures.
* Screens and recruit program participants, plan future class education sessions, deliver class educational sessions, and ensure proper program delivery.
* Develops online training tools for those who will facilitate ALAC.
* Coordinates logistics for implementing the ALAC program to the subcontractors, develops referral system, marketing and communication plans.
* Oversees ECHO sessions in providing continuing support.

Program Evaluation:

* S ubmits, revises and maintains protocols for the program.
* Ensures appropriate completion of questionnaires and maintains necessary documentation associated with participation, both participant-level and organization-level data.
* Collects evaluation data on an on-going basis.
* Reviews and designs virtual health program training tools to ensure health educators are implementing program as designed.

* Completes program data for accuracy. Coordinates development of periodic progress reports and abstracts/posters for conferences.

Program Facilitation and Communication:

* Maintains program communication with stakeholders.
* Coordinates program related meetings, prepares agendas and maintains meeting documentation. Responsible for updating PIs, Co-Is and Program Manager on the following:
Assists in identifying recruitment opportunities and promoting the ALAC program,

* Maintains documentation of group session locations, maintains map and schedules of group classes,

* Maintains all appropriate program related documentation,
* Leads ECHO sessions and responsible for ECHO session material,
* Provides and design virtual program materials to program implementers and facilitators
* Provides ongoing technical assistance to program implementers using Zoom

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Preferred: Master's degree.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years project/program coordination experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.

Preferred: Health Education Background, RedCap experience, experience with the developing a health program.
