POSITION SUMMARY
In the role of Price Execution and Category Coordination Manager, you will be responsible for driving and implementing strategic and data-driven initiatives in merchandise pricing and category reporting. In your work, you will regularly interact and coordinate efforts with several different parts of the organization, including Finance, Marketing, Operational Excellence, and Global Data and Analytics. This is an important role in helping to drive Circle K's strategy towards becoming an even more data-driven company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Support Marketing Director in acting as key liaison between Marketing/Category Management team and Operations team in delivery of overall marketing agenda.
* Drive continuous price updates through collaboration with several units within our organization (Finance, Marketing, Operational Excellence, Global Data and Analytics) in accordance with Circle K's strategic priorities for pricing in our various product categories
* Responsible for expansion of new pricing strategy to include more product categories, and annual update of the pricing strategy to meet customer needs and the company's business goals
* Collaborate with key individuals in various units, both locally and globally and be the contact person for these applicable prices
* Responsible for process improvements in price optimization and pricing execution, and for various types of development projects focused on pricing
* Responsibility for sharing best practices and lessons learned about pricing and related processes with other business units and global teams
* Actively identify process improvements between the marketing and operations functions that will improve execution and drive efficiencies throughout the functional areas.
To properly perform the duties of this position as outlined above, it is essential that the individual be able to meet the following physical demands:
* Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time & operate computer keyboard for data entry.
* Ability to position self to maintain workspace and files including under the desk.
* Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to communicate to associates, attorneys, landlords and other external customers in a manner consistent with business needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
* Ability to observe computer screen accurately for data entry.
* Ability to use fax machines and copiers.
* Ability to exchange information for support for telephone communications. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines, interruptions, and stressful situations.
* Ability to sit in a vehicle for long periods of time.
* Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the Division.

REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Project Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred
* 5 - 7 years of work experience
* Documented experience of project management with an eye for details
* Experience in running and optimizing processes within analysis, assortment or price optimization
* Experience working with individuals from different organizational functions and at different levels
* Retail experience is a plus
