Essential Functions:
You MUST live in or reside near Anchorage, Alaska
JOB SUMMARY: Perform general maintenance at designated Corporate Stationstores and carwash locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Carwash Maintenance:
* Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Holiday owned carwashes and related equipment of all makes and models
* A priority is placed on keeping the carwashes running
* Regular contact with supervisor, car wash category manager, store operations personnel and field supervisors
Food Service Equipment Repair:
* Visit stores as requested by Stationstore employees and repair Food Service Equipment as needed
* Must be able to prioritize incoming service requests and complete service within a timely manner
* Complete inspection forms daily and email to supervisor for review
Preventive Maintenance:
* Inspect petroleum dispensers, hoses, nozzles, swivels and break-a-ways and change as directed by supervisor
* Inspect dispenser sumps for water and fuel leaks and complete monthly compliance reporting
* Change dispenser fuel filters in designated stores, as directed by supervisor/operations
* Visit designated stores, repair covers and replace gaskets at petroleum fills as needed
* Maneuver sump covers/manhole covers up to 100 lbs
* Check door gaskets on all refrigeration and freezer units as scheduled
* Check and clean HVAC/refrigeration/freezer units and condenser coils. Change HVAC filters and lubricate motors, as needed
* Drain water from air compressor units; once per month, check oil where applicable and assure a leak free system. Repair air compressors as time, parts and abilities allow
* Walk around and through store, check roof, remove trash from roof and recommend repairs on any unsafe conditions or needed repairs
* Replace/repair door closers and locksets as needed
General:
* Complete Company forms and reports accurately and completely including logs of daily work and store visits
* Maintain Company tools, equipment and vehicle
* Required to carry pager and phone 24 hours per day and be available as needed for emergencies
* Minimal overnight travel may be required
* Other duties as requested by supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Demonstrated knowledge of equipment maintenance and OSHA regulations
* Good mechanical abilities and a good understanding of mechanical systems
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, mechanical and electrical information and systems
* Ability to use voltage/electrical meter to check system components
* Self-starter and eager to learn new things
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
* 2-4 years education/training in maintenance or equipment repairs, preferred
* 2-4 years in maintenance with equipment maintenance emphasis
* Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 pounds
* Excellent communications skills required
* Must have clean driving record
* Basic PC knowledge
