Job Summary
Comcast Business is a major growth engine for Comcast, and the Base Management team has the primary responsibility for managing our base of customers to prevent churn and maximize growth opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Base Management, the Manager, Base Management will work directly on core base management initiatives and will play a critical part in the shaping, execution, and measurement of key strategic programs. The Manager, Base Management will act as a thought partner to the Base Management team leveraging data analysis to provide insights and strategic recommendations on how to grow customer relationships and retain customers. To do so, you will leverage the considerable amount of data that we have on our customers to identify opportunities and will partner with colleagues in executional roles to ensure success. You will have significant exposure to the whole Senior Leadership team of Comcast Business SMB.
Job Description
* Works cross-functionally to brainstorm approaches and analytical frameworks, acquire data, execute analyses, and packages actionable recommendations
* Creates actionable insight and understanding, through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, building recommendations in support of strategic initiatives focused on customer loyalty
* Presents data-driven recommendations for enhancing customer relationships to Senior Leadership to earn buy-in for most promising ideas
* Strives to consistently apply and interpret data and metrics, while embracing flexibility when innovation and new ideas are needed
* Provides ongoing insight on the key performance metrics and drivers of our business
* Work with division partners to communicate and rollout base management initiatives
* Manages pilots/tests of new initiatives on portions of our customer base, measures the outcomes, and advocates for the expansion of successful programs
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
* Highly analytical, comfortable working in large datasets
* Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)
* Proficient in SQL queries and performing complex data analysis
* Solid communication skills with a focus on communicating key insights from data
* Detail-oriented thinker able to set and meet own deadlines
* Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
* Generally, requires 5+ years related experience
