Director, Digital Capability Management, Global Marketing Applications
Position Summary:
Director, Digital Capability Management, Global Marketing Applications is a Digital Capability Manager for Global Marketing Business Applications. The incumbent will be responsible for leading IT marketing business applications, execution and support across brand websites, multi-channel marketing capabilities and website analytics. With a rapidly growing Commercial online presence, the marketing service owner will be responsible for supporting co-promotions and product launches ensuring Celgenes product .com website preparedness and launches are executed in alignment with business and IT strategy, as well as any relevant technology and compliance standards.
This individual will be will be involved in multi-channel discussions, often requiring her/him to collaborate with various IT and/or Commercial business contacts throughout the digital lifecycles.
The DCM owns the solution strategy and life-cycle of the technical assets within their domain This role contributes to the Digital Capability Management (DCM) Roadmap thought leadership and digital strategy of the company by collaborating with IT Plan leaders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology, leveraging enterprise platforms and cloud solutions to drive business growth and profitability.
This role leads a team of digital capability managers, analysts, managed service partners, vendor resources and possesses domain experience in Marketing IT to Build and Run capabilities that support the business processes.
Specific responsibilities:
* Act as an IT Digital Capability Manager (DCM) to lead execution and support across brand marketing, product .com sites, web analytics, mobile applications, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* IT lead DCM for marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, FICO), Lead development and execution of cross-channel campaigns to launch new products and brands.
* Lead the enablement of enhanced web analytics.
* Serve as the point of contact for agency partner and license reseller, manage annual agreements and licensing for Google analytics 360 and other digital marketing capabilities.
* Point-of-Contact for all US Commercial website deployments, escalations and inquiries. Work with a matrix Global Web, Omnichannel and Mobile teams to execute on priorities.
* Responsible for Service delivery, application development, system configuration, integrations, project execution and post-launch support leveraging managed services.
* Be a thought leader in multi-channel discussions, often collaborating with various IT or Commercial business contacts throughout the digital lifecycles.
* Oversee contractors, managed services providers, external vendors during project delivery activities across franchises and responsible for on time on budget quality results.
* Work with creative agencies to implement processes, changes, updates to digital content.
* Develop governance and a robust, scalable support model for brand websites.
* Work with brand teams, IT business partners, 3rd party vendors to oversee and direct delivery of new web sites and marketing landing pages using web content management capabilities in alignment with IT strategy.
* Work with product teams to develop insights from real-time integrated data analytics
* Innovate and partner to implement digitally enabled solutions aligned to integrated business and IT strategies and customer needs
* Lead high performing scrum/agile teams of highly skilled individuals in developing and deploying solutions for Mobile, .COM Product websites and Marketing.
* Work collaboratively with IT Business Partners, PMO, Enterprise Architects, IT service leads, Business stakeholders to plan and deliver initiatives
* Achieve overall excellence by managing to an agile development format and fostering teamwork and collaboration in a matrix team.
* Partners with IT Business Partners and Digital Capability Managers to define, plan for, prioritize, deliver & support strategic digital capabilities and ensure maximum value is achieved.
* Manages the build and run of technology assets.
* Defines 3-year digital capability roadmaps in line with business roadmap & enterprise architecture strategy, focusing on speed, quality, & cost.
* Manages Total Cost of Ownership (build & run) and the key drivers behind them to ensure the digital capabilities are cost efficient.
* Fulfills all approved, technology asset-specific business needs.
* Designs technical solutions to satisfy business requirements.
* Influences vendor roadmaps to align with BMS strategy.
Requirements:
* 12+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare
* 10+ years experience with hands on experience developing marketing, digital technology solutions for web and mobile channels.
* 7+ years of experience in leading staff and leveraging managed services and contractors for operational activities.
* 7+ years of full lifecycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies, including DevOps, XP, Agile and Waterfall
* Subject matter expertise in delivery of services that support Marketing, Mobile, Content Management, .COM Websites, and Digital.
* Strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce Marketing/Sales Cloud.
* Strong knowledge and experience with Google Analytics 360.
* Experience with FICO campaign management.
* Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or IoT a plus
* Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Analytics and Data/Information Integrations.
* Strong customer centric skills as well as advanced ability to liaise with business functions
