Merger Position

Role and Responsibilities

* Identifies and connects risks and issues that span horizontally across IRL Workstreams and divisions and is responsible for accurate and concise roll-up of those risks and issues
* Subject matter expert on risks and issues within the work streams in their preview, allowing them to contextualize the severity of those issues across the MOE integration events and between divisional work streams.
* Has a joint understanding with IRLs on end to end customer and team mate impact of risks, issues and implementation plans and how they may fit in with or conflict with other work stream implementations
* Leads planning and coordination for cross functional / divisional planning efforts with IRLs
* Identifies and goes deep on application level conversion timeline/sequencing dependencies between divisions and IRL work streams
* Evaluates and has accountability for quality of projects performance against standards, reporting and overall technology integration plan management
* Engaged in and drives crisis action planning and coordination, as appropriate
* Engaged in and drives financial management at the project level with each IRL, rolling up information for overall MOE financial Management.
* Drives and facilitate senior leadership escalation, planning and issue resolution leveraging horizontal perspective and influence.
* Improves the work value stream: removes tactical impediments, improves work process for more effective, consistent and sustainable execution, etc.
* Single point of contact for delivery and acts as an advocate between the IRL teams, MOE leadership team, and ET senior leadership team.

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience in IT project management or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Broad functional knowledge in defining technology requirements.
* Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
* Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.
* Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
* Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy.
* Ability to manage a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation.

Preferred Requirements

* Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience in IT project management and delivery management.
* Creative problem solver, with the ability to build contingency plans and handle stressful situation with professionalism
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to provide direction and guidance to the IRL and project teams and handle daily planning and execution issues including escalation to senior leadership.
* Technical acumen and attention to details, with a strong ability to get into the details, getting to the root of issues and help asses the criticality of them related to the success of the overall merger as well as individual work streams.
* Ability to expertly lead, drive, and coordinate crisis management.
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
* Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
