Global Account Director

The Global Account Director will manage and control all activities within a global business for a specific strategic customer.

The primary objective is to maximize business opportunities and to ensure that JLL/Technologies is in a prime position to grow and develop sales profitability.
JLLT is seeking a Global Account Director (GAD) to join our global strategic sales and account management team. We are seeking a candidate with outstanding sales experience and customer service skills. Our team members have a passion for technology and bring innovative business solutions in a variety of settings and inceptions to our customers. Further, they are capable of playing the role of an orchestrator for JLLT, enabling us to deliver value to the client.

To be successful on this team you must be entrepreneurial and passionate about growing our existing accounts while proactively pursuing new opportunities within those accounts. You are able to identify roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business, are dedicated to growing JLLTs business and are innovative in the market bringing tailored solutions to address our client problems.

Role Responsibilities

* Grow assigned accounts upwards of $5M in revenue and $8M in sales annually.
* Act globally as the GAD for a specific group a customers, accountable for profitable sales growth, development of new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction.
* Responsible for understanding all aspects of the assigned customers globally; including but not limited to: Available Market, Market Share, Customers Business Objectives, Goals, and Technologies.
* Responsible and accountable for delivering the annual growth plans for the specific customer, as well as further defining the account specific tactical activities are aligned with the customer's and JLLT's strategies.
* Assess and qualify new business opportunities to develop additional revenue streams.
* Responsible for developing, implementing and executing plans for advancing the JLLT's products to meet the customer's specific demands.
* Communicate results (monthly billing review, monthly rolling forecast and market project highlights) as well as needs to direct supervisor.
* Identify areas where JLLT does not have a dominating position and define account coverage and product requirements to sales, delivery and product leadership.
* Works with regional Revenue and Core leaders to ensure they are supporting the global customer as necessary to become the preferred supplier in the identified regions/products.
* Provide additional leadership and guidance to align Core, CS and Markets account managers in areas of customer knowledge, customer product strategy, and regional successes that can be leveraged globally.
* Identify needs for training, coaching, and facilitation to develop a world class global account management team via indirect management.
* Responsible for setting strategy for customer pricing, pricing uplift between regions, and currency/commodity strategy at the global customer.
* Responsible to ensure concurrence between regional leaders and oversees the implementation of this strategy in total, the Global Account Director must be perceived as the customer's champion within the JLLT organization and will ensure that JLLT is perceived as the supplier of choice by the customer.

* Demonstrated ability to grow relationships at the senior executive level and C-Suite within global fortune 100 clients.
* Demonstrated ability to grow accounts upwards of $5M annually in revenue and $8M in sales.
* Past success in global strategic sales with a strong business growth mindset
* Proven track-record in developing leaders and managing high-performing, matrixed teams
* Results focused leadership style, ensures execution, drives targeted results, focuses on customers and leads courageously
* Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect
* Ability to translate client requests to make impactful recommendations that meet client needs, tell a story that eloquently translates data, simplifies complex information and clearly articulates JLLTs value
* Strong influential skills with ability to work across diverse stakeholders to drive common solutions
* Anticipates and understands the emerging needs of clients
* Deep expertise in the CRE (Corporate Real Estate) industry and how technology is applied to solve business challenges
* Understands the market of CRE Technologies, Prop Tech, IWMS, Smart Buildings, IoT, etc.
* Is intimately familiar with the world of CRE: functions, processes, stakeholders, market, etc.
* Strong client presentation and communication skills with ability to proactively anticipate prospective client and sales teams needs
* Is a leader in strategic orientation of technology as a differentiation to the core businesses in Corporate Real Estate

Education Credentials (What your background should look like)

* B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent education 5 years of experience in various Business Development, Marketing, and Sales assignments with Global Customers
* At least 2 years of Managerial Experience Knowledge of sales forecasting / market trends / competition / technology that will influence products and sales
* Must be comfortable facilitating high level business and technical discussion between JLLT and the customer's executive leadership, engineering, project management, and change management teams
* Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills
* Ability to form successful working relationships quickly, at all levels of an organization
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to motivate on account teams
* Strong presentation skills including presenting to executive levels both internally within JLLT and externally at the customer
* Cultural sensitivity as well as demonstrated diversity and inclusion training
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global organization
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Good knowledge of Salesforce and demonstrated successful use of CRM
