Job Summary
The Lead Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists MES Mobile Engineers in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. Assists the Facility Manager in directing the engineering services operation and maintenance of all assigned buildings. Provides direct support to field operations, performance metric tracking and reporting, and implements strategic material acquisition strategies.

Job Responsibilities:
Organization and management of the Engineering Services team & management of the teams resources
* Provide guidance and technical support to the team.
* Be team expert in General Maintenance repairs and services.
* Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
* Maintains responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency.
* Leading site team in daily duties.
* Attend periodic management/executive training seminars.
* Maintain staffing schedules, timekeeping and employment records for responsible areas in connection with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering/maintenance work.
* Furnish mechanics with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planning.
Management of work orders and critical building information
* Make recommendations for systems improvement and Capital Projects through immediate supervisor or management.
* Furnish the Operations Manager / Chief Engineer or Regional Operations Manager with information relative to criticality of buildings.
* Maintain liaison with Operations Manager / Chief Engineer or Regional Operations Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimates.
* Supports preparation of monthly/quarterly operations reports.
* Plan schedule of work in accordance with established priorities.
* Coordinate purchasing and inventory control procedures.
* Update work order status in real time.
* Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.
