The Claims Technician acts as a liaison with other departments to resolve problems. Utilize active listening and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze and resolve both routine and complicated work requests. Meet and exceed hard deadlines. Facilitate new claim triage and assignment process. Perform business and IT project work. Work to continuously improve process. Process financial transactions, such as issuing checks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Operate under the mindset of The Hartfords Behaviors. Training Hours: 8:30am 5:00 pm EST

Work Hours: Flexible

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

* Assisting multiple lines of business with operations duties
* Analysis & resolution of both routine and complicated work requests
* Financial transaction processing and regulatory compliance
* Meeting & exceeding hard deadlines
* Business and IT project work
* Continuous process improvement
* New claim triage and assignment process
* May be required to assist with customer calls

* Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. May require occasional overtime
* Core Talent, Data, and Customer Focus DNA Badges strongly preferred for current Claims staff
* Preferably this is an in office position
