Lab Technician
Precision Planting is looking for a motivated lab technician to join a multidisciplinary engineering team to help design the next generation of yield-creating and ecologically sound agricultural solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working and performing experiments in the laboratory, working independently and with a cross-functional team, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position can be up to 40 hours a week.
Job Responsibilities
* Perform analytical testing and analyses in a chemistry lab
* Prepare test solutions and reagents for chemical analyses
* Maintain laboratory instrumentation
Technical Skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to communicate technical results
* Ability to learn new laboratory techniques and procedures quickly
* Ability to analyze and report data
Experience / Education / Qualifications
* BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
* 1-2 years professional work experience in a laboratory environment
* Experience using and calibrating laboratory instrumentation
* Experience in Analytical Chemistry is helpful but not required
