Hands-on individual contributor to lead the implementation and on-going optimization of our analytics capability focused on the Adobe platforms but able to grow into other enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the requirements gathering and implementation for analytics with a focus on the Adobe platforms including Target, Launch, and Audience Manager
* Work with cross-functional teams of product owners, data modelers, developers, SEO, content, and other key stakeholders to identify relevant metrics or KPIs, build and interpret reports, communicate results and develop a course of action based on analysis
* Understand the capabilities provided by out-of-the-box components available in Adobe Analytics tools and the integration of Adobe Analytics with other Adobe solutions
* Ability to configure the Analytics setup for new sites, make and implement recommendations to improve analytics capabilities of existing sites
* Understand usage model costs within the Adobe contracts and ensure we are compliant to
* Help partners across the organization extract data and communicate what information is contextually relevant through in-depth knowledge of New York Lifes data environment
* Maintain detailed design documents (SDRs) for each sites implementation

Required Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Business field or equivalent
* 3+ years in marketing or digital analytics and possesses an in-depth understanding of digital analytics metrics and dimensions
* 3+ years analytical skills experience with understanding of statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations
* Strong analytical, written, verbal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work with all levels within the organization
* A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
* Strong desire and ability to develop/scripting in modern programming languages to successfully instrument analytics
* Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
* Excel at communicating (spoken, written, presentation) with an ability to express technical concepts in business terms
* Ability to negotiate and navigate difficult or ambiguous situations, adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals and technologies
* Takes ownership and accountability
* Ability to work as part of a distributed product team
* Forward thinking; ability to identify potential risks and issues, proactively providing recommendations for mitigating
* Actively participate and collaborate within Agile teams to effectively plan and execute deliverables for each sprint
* Embraces diversity and inclusion of thought
* Ability to work across boundaries, building cross organizational relationships
* Strong desire to develop and advance own skills through self-study, hands-on and shadow learning, formal instruction

Preferred Skills:

* 3+ years executing projects using Agile Methodologies and tooling such as Rally/Jira
* SQL and database structures as well as digital visualization (e.g. Tableau) tools a plus
* Adobe Analytics hands-on experience
* Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Target Certifications
* Previous experience working within Life Insurance, Retail Annuities or Long-Term Care
* Knowledge of New York Life products
