Director/Sr Director, Change Manager
Overview:
News Corp is looking for a Change Manager to support a multi-year transformation program. The Change Management opportunity is an integral role within the Transformation Management Office, working with consulting partners and leaders across the business to drive organizational change and communications. The Change Manager will report to the SVP, Change Management.
The purpose of this role is to support the change management activities of stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, training, and learning, along with measurement and reporting on change effectiveness. Key components of the role include developing and managing change plans, developing key messaging about the change, and driving stakeholder engagement to support the global transformation initiative across the organization. You will ensure that business leaders, change agents, impacted employees, and all other partners are provided with relevant and current updates and provide regular engagement and support throughout the transition phases. Creatively share the benefits of the change, solicit, and synthesise stakeholder feedback to inform and drive change activities. Establish and support a change champion network across a globally dispersed and diverse organization.
The role will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure that activities are aligned, coordinated, and integrated. The activities that come within the scope of this role are diverse, often with many interdependencies as well as sensitivities. The role involves fast-paced matrix working, influencing, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
* Institute best practices in change management, cross-functional communication, and establish a framework for communicating target state or strategic vision
* Support the development, implementation and revision of the change, communication, and training plans for the transformation program. Track progress against key milestones and deliverables
* Author and manage the dissemination of communication collateral and artifacts (such as stakeholder newsletters, FAQs, intranet content, presentations) for various stakeholder audiences, from executive to employee
* Ability to lead cross-functional, global, large-scale change initiatives and take on ad hoc requests and special projects as needed
* Develop stakeholder engagement efforts to obtain awareness, build knowledge and adoption of change. Additionally, obtain alignment and advocacy from leaders
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, change management, or related field
* 8+ years of enterprise-wide change management and communications experience
* Exceptional written communication skills
* Experience with owning projects and managing multiple stakeholders
* Advanced knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
* Analytical skills and the ability to provide insight into project progress and identify risks
* Ability to explain complex concepts in an easily understandable written format
* Demonstrated client relationship skills working in a dynamic, matrixed client environment
* Experience of transformation communications planning and execution for a global matrixed organization
* Experience delivering large organizational change and developing and deploying global campaigns to a diverse audience
* Experience working in a target operating model environment
* Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to work effectively under tight deadlines
