Minimum Qualifications:

* Must have High School Diploma or GED.
* Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime and shifts as required.
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
* Must be able to move empty and full beams with monorail.
* Must be able to assist creelers by lifting 20-pound packages to a height of 72 inches on a regular basis.
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to work in a team with minimum supervision.
* Must be able to perform Housekeeping duties in a consistent manner on machines in work area.
* Must demonstrate adherence to safety procedures, work rules , and attendance requirements.
* Must perform miscellaneous duties as required by Supervision.

Job Tasks:

Operate the beamer at maximum possible efficiency, ensuring that a quality warp is produced in the safest manner possible.

* Repair all end breaks.
* De-creel empty packages and creel full packages.
* Check warps and make necessary adjustments when needed to insure warp quality.
* Adjust combs to insure proper lay of selvage ends.
* Leases warp prior to doffing.
* Doff beams, use monorail to remove beams and stage.
* Remove spurs from beam head prior to running and labels with style running.
* Adjust beam head width for correct style.
* Make style changes as required including creel work.
* Using low pressure air hose, blow off sectional eye boards and comb off debris.
* Use aspirator to blow back packages.
* Notify mechanic and/or supervisor of and mechanical or electrical failures.
* Maintain finish tray with adequate amount of lubrication.
* Maintain good housekeeping at beamer.
