The PM will report to the Vice President, GCMS, and act as the principal liaison between the GCMS Vice President, his leadership team, and other internal/external customers. As a key member of the leadership team, the PM will lead a variety of projects and assist the GCMS Vice President in meeting any of the business obligations of the GCMS Market Segment. The PM will be accountable for acting independently and for coordinating the efforts and drawing on the resources of staff and management personnel to carry out assignments and expedite matters requiring attention. Activities include leadership of special projects, participating on GCMS and Sikorsky work teams, and providing recommendations, preparing reports and presentations. The preferred candidate will perform as an Executive Assistant in preparation for key presentations such as: Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs), Internal Program Reviews and other key external customer reviews. The PM will act as the primary POC between GCMS and Strategy/Business Development and will obtain an overall view of strategy development, decision-making, and program execution as a means of developing skills and knowledge for future job assignments. The PM will engage in Strategic Projects in support of the directors in the market segment. Post COVID-19some level of travel is expected to support trade shows or customer engagement.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Acting as the Vice Presidents representative at various meetings and functions and participating, as time permits, on special projects as directed
by the GCMS Vice President.
Working with senior staff to create presentations and supporting material for use with GCMS leadership, the Sikorsky Senior Leadership Team
(SLT), and other internal and external customers and partners.
Leading management communication initiatives on behalf of the GCMS Vice President, such as internal all hands meetings, employee communications,
and other communications activities.
Drafting executive level talking points, speeches, emails and correspondence.
Coordinating white papers and presentations to support Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin customer and partner meetings.
Working closely with internal functional support staff to resolve issues.
Learning all key production and service and support issues and initiatives, and driving understanding across the organization.
Working closely with peers across the organizations to ensure coordination across Programs.
This position requires sound decision making and problem solving skills with minimal supervisory direction as well as an ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Additionally, this position requires excellent customer engaging skill set given the customer facing responsibilities this role requires. MBA (or in pursuit of an MBA) is preferred.
