Georgetown Community Hospital a 12 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a Registered Nurse to join our ER Emergency Department in a PRN status. If you are interested in picking up additional shifts then come join us within a highly skilled team of ER nurses, physicians, and technicians. Your graduation of an accredited school of nursing, current RN license, current BLS certification, and ability to acquire ACLS and PALS are the minimum requirements.

Job Responsibilities
* Ensure delivery of patient care including assessment, planning, implementations, and evaluation of patient outcomes
* Revise plan of patient care as needed
* Provide compassion to the patient and the patients family members
* Prioritize patient care based on acuity level
* Assign triage levels
* Complete continuing education courses as needed
* Attend staff meetings and work as a team toward improvement goals
Job Requirements
Qualifications
* Associates Degree ADN from an accredited school of Nursing
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred
* Current RN license in the state of KY
* BLS certification
* ACLS certification
* PALS certification
* ENPC preferred
* TNCC preferred
* Emergency Department nurse experience preferred
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
