Job Responsibilities
Lam Research is seeking an Industrial Engineer located in Livermore, CA. This critical position will partner with logistics management and will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes by identifying and driving the implementation of appropriate Lean methodologies.
Other Job Responsibilities
* Logistics systems management and support
* Sustaining support of kanban parts presentation
* Enabling continuous improvement in Lams global logistics operations
* Warehousing and manufacturing designs
* Data compilation and analysis
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts including:
* Kanban
* Kaizen
* Operations and material flow
* AutoCAD, Facility design
* Manufacturing methods
* MRP
Minimum Qualification
* Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong leadership and project management skills
* Must have a passion for manufacturing, software and data, and finding better/faster ways of doing everything you do
* Demonstrated strong CAD experience
