Tests data quality and works directly with outside vendors to confirm they have all necessary information. Supports client-facing staff in various areas of Investment Managment with adhoc data requests and provides proactive analytics support. Has solid understanding of available data sources and can appropriately leverage internal and external systems, databases, etc. to develop analytcs approach, describe characteristics of a visualiation, and explain results of an analysis to a non-technical audience. With Moderate guidance, supports assigned area with advanced, complex data analyses and metric needs for assigned analytic tasks. Assists the business/clients to define data workflows or reporting requirements. Collaborates with management to develop and implement the techniques and automated design methodologies to be used for each type of activity/analysis. Leads data modeling, metric analysis and serves as resource to colleagues unfamiliar with partiular specialised process or data sets.Uses BI technology tools to conduct analyses; applies techniques, run and enhance automated workflows or dashboard visualizations, including SQL querying and macro development to extract data for populating databases. May do some light modification of automated workflows, and system configuration in order maintain sophisticated algorithms, data workflows or dashboards. Processes pre-defined data workflows to update existing dashboard reporting or to provide updated data sets to market data vendors and ensures the quality and accurate delivery/transfer of test and production files.Analyzes and monitors data/reports to ensure quality of and accurate transfer, integration, translation, and reporting of data, reacting promptly to data quality statistics and client inquiries. Based on analysis, may execute small to moderately complex data fixes, resulting in improved performance or accuracy.Leverages internal and external databases and dashboards for purposes of data analysis, and aggregation to examine and analyze data on clients and the marketplace to support business development, segmentation, tactical opportunity analyses and sales strategy adjustments at a territory or client level and provides gathered insights in presentation to sales teams. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in quantitative / STEM field preferred. 3-7 years experience preferred. Experience in quantitative or technology field and Investment managment preferred.
