Position Purpose:

Lead strategic planning for global branded Wipers business, supporting the plans of the KCP Wipers and Partnership Products Business Teams and providing long-term strategic planning typically involving capacity and materials planning

Scope:

The focus of this position is to lead and manage the global supply chain planning processes across all KCP Industrial Wipers, Home Professional and Partnership Products Planning categories.

The role provides strategic planning support for capacity, materials, inventory, and customer service, and engages directly with the regions to support regional supply planning processes.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Lead monthly global supply review for wipers business.

2. Lead the global strategic planning process for wipers, through timely and accurate development of supply/capacity plans (0 24 months) for converting and manufacturing operations.

3. Work with regional teams to ensure connectivity with regional supply plans and overall global supply.

4. Participate in KCP global S&OP process.

5. Maintain global demand-supply balance for next 24 months and work with regions and business leaders to allocate supply where needed based upon established prioritization matrix.

6. Prepare 5 year global mass balance for capital planning and business planning in support of KCP Wiper business in the regions as well as global Partnership Products business.

7. Oversee and ensure capacity optimization of long term (2-5 years) and collaborate with regions to ensure capacity optimization of mid-term (3-18 months) plans to minimize total delivered costs and meet customer service requirements.

8. Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to senior KCP Global Leadership on supply chain initiatives across multiple regions including capacity consolidation, investment and optimization plans, and global base sheet and converting balances.

9. Utilize KC Global systems (BW, APO and R/3), identify gaps, and work with necessary stakeholders to develop solutions.

8. Provide key consulting support for global statistically managed inventory process (SMI) and activities required to deliver annual year on year inventory reductions. Ensure capacity and SNP processes support the enterprise working capital objectives.

9. Participate as Planning consultant resource on KCPs end to end value stream initiatives for Wipers, Home Professional and Partnership Products.

10. Deliver business metrics (customer service, working capital, distribution expense, and cost savings. Align work in support of the annual goals established for each.

11. Be an influential leader with KCP Product Supply and functional resources toward driving best practice and standardized Global capacity planning processes

12. Collaborate appropriately and effectively with all customers by conducting all communications and connections with the utmost integrity and honesty in delivering business results.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelors Degree

* At least 7 -9 years of relevant work experience.

* Must have a manufacturing planning background defined by 3-5 years of experience.

* Effectively organize, plan, control and communicate production and materials plans with headquarters and mill units.

* Lean capability/background.

* Experience with SAP R3, BW and Advanced Planning Tool(s) preferably SAP APO.

* Advanced capability in Microsoft Office applications.

* APICS certification preferred.
