Overview

This position functions within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Riley Childrens Hospital. The Riley NICU is located in downtown Indianapolis on the 4th floor of the Simon Family Tower. Our NICU offers the most advanced neonatology services and innovative technology in the state. Our 60-bed all private room NICU is the only comprehensive Level 4 nursery in the state that provides the highest level of care available for all neonatal patients needing specialized treatment options and is staffed 24 hours a day by a specially trained team of doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, and social workers. In addition to excellent family-centered care services, the Riley team concentrates on research through the utilization of evidence-based practices and quality improvement.

Will consider new grads, PCA experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

* Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
* Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
* Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
* Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
* Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
