Job Description

Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our site, lab and safety programs. In this role, you will develop and manage tracking processes including meetings, documentation and reporting. You will drive highly cross-functional programs that span across Facebook Reality Labs, Facebook central resources and other businesses including representing operations to product and leadership teams.

Program Manager Responsibilities

* Lead cross-functionally to define schedule, requirements, resource plans, integration plans, prioritize initiatives, and proactively identify/address potential setbacks.

* Work with technical product managers, engineers, researchers and software engineers to deliver on site and lab deliverables to enable research and development.

* Report regularly on the status, risks and mitigations of products.

* Evaluate requested changes to operating procedures, partnering with other members of Environment, Health & Safety and our lab teams to ensure timely review and enablement of hardware activities.

* Develop and manage a 5 year road map on site operations for these technical spaces.

* Point of contact for the teams using our technical spaces back to facilities, EHS and central site management.

* Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal-oriented results when tackling complex problems.

* Running recurring cross-functional syncs, and update meetings to keep projects on track and keep stakeholders up-to-date on status.

* Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for review by all parts of the organization.

* Drive teams to decisions and issue resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications

* 5+ years of tech industry experience, including 5+ years of program management experience.

* Experience building and managing relationships with engineers, TPMs and other internal partners.

* Experience understanding and communicating technical information to non-experts.

Preferred Qualifications

* Comfortable working through influence

* Experience communicating and working effectively with all levels of staff

* Experience influencing teams indirectly through timely, accurate, and powerful analysis

* Experience working in a hardware production environment

* Experience working with internal and external companies and vendors
