The Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) Audio Tech Team brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. We have a clear mandate to ship products at scale. In particular, seemingly impossible products that define new categories that advance Facebook's mission of connecting the world. The team will apply breakthrough development at the intersection of ambitious science and product development. It will operate on aggressive, fixed timelines, with extensive use of partnerships in universities, small and large businesses. The Audio Tech Team has the responsibility for taking breakthroughs and delivering them to market at scale. As Manager, Audio Hardware in the FRL organization at Facebook, you will build and lead the audio system's design team that pushes forward the state of virtual reality and augmented reality across the fields of acoustics, audio DSP and audio electrical design. You should be passionate about experimenting with new audio designs as well as being rock solid competent when it comes to implementing them for production. You and your team will directly own the design, implementation, and validation of VR/AR and consumer hardware audio systems across the lifecycle from initial conception to mass production.
