Dana Incorporated is searching for a highly skilled and motivated entry level candidate in the automotive field to support the development of drivetrain products. This work involves managing the Design Review Based on Test Results (DRBTR) activities related to posttest product reviews. Potential candidates will need to have co-op/internship experience with an automotive supplier or manufacturer with a background in product development, testing or applications.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Follow all Safety requirements and Safely work in a lab environment
* Maintain a Best in Class formalized DRBTR process based on OEM/SAE methodologies
* Lead the DRBTR review process and schedule formal reviews with the engineering project teams and customers.
* Benchmark OEM or supplier processes to identify Best Practices and Continuous Improvement
* Work with test labs, Prototype and Engineering depts. to conduct DRBTR reviews and document all findings in a standardized format.
* Develop Training materials which support the DRBTR process and conduct training
* Follow Program Management and Stage Gate development process to meet project goals
* Implement Continuous improvement ideas using Dana Operating System methods.
* Disassemble parts and document the parts
* Proper indentation and labeling of all material, organize material and inventory tracking of tested materials.
* Responsible for cleanliness (5S) and organization of the area.
* Coordinate shipping of materials

Requirements:

* Knowledge of Axle and Driveshaft products
* Minimum Engineering Degree in, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent
* Completed a minimum of three co-op/internship assignments
* Understanding of the DRBTR process
* Ability to successfully function in a matrix style organization, working with a variety of cross-functional team members
* Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
* Discipline and urgency when completing assignments and associated responsibilities
* Must be self-directed and motivated individual who is organized and able to accept multiple tasks and responsibilities
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside the organization in a professional manner
* Required to establish working relationships with teams
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
* Support additional activities as requested.
* Willing to work extra hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
* Good computer skills with Microsoft Office and PLM.

* Must have a valid drivers license.
* Able to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively and stand for approximately 90% of the time.
* Able to use required lab equipment, microscopes, photography equipment etc.
