As the Analyst, Billing, this position will have weekly billing analysis and reconciliation responsibility for multiple clients. This roles primary focus will be to identify, report and reconcile electronic invoicing transmissions, payment status and resolution/resubmission of failures or rejections.

What youll do on a typical day:

* Monitor cadence and completeness of electronic invoice transmissions in partnership with the IT department and Client. Identify failures in transmission and work to resolve root cause to resubmit.
* Analyze submitted invoices via client portal or other client report to identify completeness of payment. Identify short pays, rejections and other issues and work to resolve root cause. If eligible, resubmit corrections for payment and monitor through completion.
* Resolve root causes of incomplete transactions with key internal and external stakeholders including Client, Client Solutions, IT, Support, Finance, Operations, Billing Teams and Advanced Solutions Team. Project manage issues to completion.
* Partner with Finance to resolve issues with aging accounts that may or may not be related to electronic billing
* Report weekly to leadership on all open issues and dollar amounts by client, showing progress made and next action items scheduled.
* Work hand in hand with Advanced Solutions team to identify, improve and implement effective process change
* Manage and monitor improvement actions to measure success of changes

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 1-year analysis experience
* Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, MS Power Point, advanced experience with Excel

Itd be great if you also have:

* 2+ years of analysis experience in a financial or transportation related field
* Experience working with EDI 210 Billing is preferred
* Experience with SQL and Excel analysis is preferred
