General Summary:
Unum is seeking a passionate Digital Analytics leader to join our Digital Experience team. In this leadership role, the individual will be responsible to enterprise Digital Analytics Strategy, roadmap and execution, as well as work closely with Digital Transformation Office (DTO) executive team to measure and report on enterprise wide Digital KPIs.
This role will partner with product, technology, business and marketing teams to design and develop digital measurement strategies and support teams with analysis and reports showcasing value of digital strategies. This role will design and create actionable insights by leveraging online/offline/backend/telephony data, cross-channel attribution, content management tools and 3rd party service providers.
This role will manage and grow current web analytics team to support the needs of enterprise digital web analytics.
Job Summary:
* Oversee building out of measurement strategies supporting key digital properties serving Brokers, Agents, Clients, Consumers and internal employees
* Support multiple agile product teams working on digital platforms and data ingestion
* Collaborate with Product, Technology, Digital Adoption and UX teams to understand feature/platform
* Design and develop measurement solutions, leveraging GA, backend transactional data, and other sources of data
* Create analytical requirements or stories, convert business requirements to stories
* Partner with agile delivery teams to implement analytics data solution
* Ensure proper governance and quality checks are in place
* Provide actionable insights to Business and Product team
* Partner with product owner, business and platform teams to identify Critical, Primary and Secondary KPIs to measure developing feature
* Create 30-, 60- and 90-days actionable insights into the features/functions developed by agile teams
* Establish annual measurement plan that will track against top of the house goals to meet business objectives
* Showcase performance of the developed feature/function, backing the analytics data
* Provide recommendations to improve conversation, driving digital adoption, identifying and reducing frictions in customer paths
* Some examples of initiatives include Customer Journey improvement, Driving Digital Adoption, Funnel Optimization, Conversion Improvement, Acquisition Effectiveness improvement, Optimization, A/B Testing, Initiative Performance, Personalization and more
* Gatekeeper of all Enterprise Digital KPIs related to critical functions developed and released by supporting journey teams
* Provide cross functional training around developed KPI and guide P&L teams with digital analysis/analytics
* Responsible to data accuracy and integrity, for developed functions
* Perform other duties and/or special analytics projects to support enterprise/business needs
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Proven track record of establishing Digital/Web analytics measurement framework for large digital products or properties
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple digital initiatives
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics, etc.,
* 10+ years analytics experience in digital, marketing, portfolio management and product development in enterprise scale applications
* 3+ years of managing analytics team and strong history of delivery
* 2+ years of experience in working with digital analytics platforms such Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics knowledge of Data warehouse concepts
* Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tool preferred
* Experience with data clouds like Amazon AWS or BigQuery
* Hands-on experience of working with clickstream data
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Strong executive presence, communication, presentation and story-telling skills
* Ability to structure the problem, hypothesis-driven approach, problem solving skills and strong Analytical ability are important
* Ability to clearly and concisely articulate the problem, approach and recommendations to both technical and business audience
* Ability to think strategically, and then follow through with detail-orientation and execution and success in managing competing priorities
* Possess good understanding of digital analytics implementation, tag management systems and/or data integrations
* Experience with multi-channel and cross-channel attribution
* Expertise in creating and driving quantifiable metrics/KPIs and leverage consumer data to find quality customers to acquire, engage, retain and reactivate through different marketing channels
* Exposure to digital marketing technology areas like CMS, CDP, DMP, Analytics and Personalization
* Proficient and should have hands on experience of using web analytics tools specifically Google analytics
* Previous expertise working with any tag management tool like Google Tag Manager
Desired Characteristics:
* Experience in Digital analytics stacks with Google Analytics, Firebase experience
* Ability to solve business questions through quantitative approaches and translate to business insights
* Demonstrate ability to manage complexity and multiple assignments with less supervision
* Strong understanding in Insurance industry, FinTech, Marketing, financial P&L drivers
* Excellent communication skill both verbal and written
