Responsibilities
Quail Run Behavioral Health is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. We offer a full and extensive benefits package along with competitive salary.
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
* Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, preventative maintenance, HVAC, tests and inspections of the physical plant.
* Clean and change air filters as required through Preventative Maintenance Program.
* Clean kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.
* Dispose of infectious / contaminated waste from facility.
* Maintain light fixtures in good working condition and change bulbs as necessary.
* Perform preventative maintenance electrical test as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical / electrical equipment with direct supervision of a supervisor.
* Perform various janitorial duties.
* Responsible for keeping tools and materials in good condition and in their proper location.
* Responsible for taking necessary precautions when handling hand / power tools and equipment.
* Take appropriate precautions ensuring proper tag out and lock out procedures when working on equipment.
* Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations and Safety / Risk Management Plans, policies, and procedures.
* Maintain various logs but not limited to the: Generator, Fire Extinguishers, Utilities Equipment, Work Orders, Temperature, Fire Alarm, and Fire Sprinklers.
* Assist in assuring a safe and risk preventative environment.
* Use time constructively and in an organized manner.
* Adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel and standard policies and procedures.
* Attend all mandatory facility in-services and staff development activities as scheduled.
* Adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance and punctuality.
* Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.
* Maintain confidentiality of facility employees and patient information.

Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent; two (2) years of technical or trade school preferred.
Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. Must have experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license.
Additional Requirements: Must have complete knowledge of physical plant within two weeks of hire. Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card.
