We currently have an opportunity for an ARNP-Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) for primary medicine in our Kirkland, Washington hospital.

POSITION SUMMARY: As a credentialed member of the Medical Staff, the Nurse Practitioner position duties include rounding on patients and consult on patient's medical needs and completing admission history and physical.

The Nurse Practitioner will work as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team on our 157 bed unit serving adult and pediatric patients.

Qualifications

Education:

* Graduate from an accredited Masters degree program of adult or family advance registered nurse practitioner professional required.

Experience:

* A minimum of five (5) years of experience in primary care or urgent care preferred.

Licensure:

* Current Washington State ARNP license with prescriptive authority.

Additional Requirements:

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; successful completion of Show of Support, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, and successful completion of the Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation programs within 90 days of employment.
