Summary

We're looking for a creative, brilliant, passionate hybrid Learning Experience Designer with a proven track record of designing best-in-class learning experiences for live classroom, virtual live and on-demand learning using Design Thinking methods and digital technologies. In this role, you will collaborate and consult with key stakeholders on the assessment, identification, design/development, implementation, evaluation of learning solutions. You will identify, evaluate and propose learning technologies to effectively support talent development strategy and modern learning experiences.

This position is located in Minneapolis, MN, Appleton, WI, or remote.

Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Scope and design innovative learning experiences that produce the desired learning, behavior change, and business outcomes
* Leverage principles of human-centered design to drive experience creation and iteration;
* Discern the appropriate blend of learning technologies, social learning, cohorts, vendors, change management or simply curated content to maximize the learner experience and will work anywhere, any time
* Stay current and provide thought leadership on continuous innovation in learning. Provide recommendations on the procurement, use and governance of tools and platforms needed to support a digital workforce
* Know our businesses and design contextualized learning solutions grounded in the realities of where and how the work happens
* Lead and project manage cross functional resource teams to meet business and learning objectives
* Partner collaboratively with subject matter experts to round out knowledge where needed, while owning the quality and on-time delivery of the final product
* Continually evaluate solutions for quality, business impact, and scalability, leverage technology to extend access and provide just in time learning
* Estimate, prioritize, secure and manage funding and effort to develop learning experiences

Required Job Qualifications

* 2 - 3 years client-facing experience in Human-Centered Design / Design Thinking;
* Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, curriculum development or the equivalent in related experience required. (Master's degree preferred)
* Experience in developing training and writing curriculum that reflects knowledge of adult learning principles, different learning/work styles and established instructional design approaches and processes
* Intermediate to advanced experience with eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline and Captivate
* Experience working with and influencing employees and management at all levels in the enterprise.
* Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and partners
* Able to adapt quickly to changing needs and requirements, new technologies, new processes and standards in an environment of continuous improvement
