Our Senior Manager Clinical Development Improvement will facilitate collaboration between Sarah Cannon Development Innovations teams and strategic partners to advance common interests and achieve mutual goals through developing best practices and procedures and supporting implementation within Development Innovations. Responsible for leading organization efforts to drive improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical and business processes. Applies advanced analytical techniques to develop a deep understanding of processes. Recommends modifications to people, processes, and systems to deliver improved operating results. Implements control mechanisms to ensure ongoing sustainability of change.
Duties include and are not limited to:
* Apply appropriate tools and techniques to develop detailed knowledge of business processes, how processes fit within the broader system, particularly with strategic partners, and the environment in which they work.
* Work in collaboration with strategic partners to Identify and recommend process, systems, and people modifications to drive measurable improvement in key performance metrics
* Ensure that Sarah Cannon Development Innovations adhere to sponsor and trial defined processes to deliver performance metrics
* Work in collaboration with strategic partners to develop specific scorecards, project status reports
* Collect data and apply advanced analytic techniques to enable assessment of the operating efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
* Lead implementation of changes and manage impacted people through the change journey.
* Communicate and partner with internal and external organizations to ensure successful implement of change.
* Develop process and structure to prioritize target areas for process improvement efforts
* Work cross functionally to support the wider Development Innovations organization implement best in class processes.
* Work with Senior Business Analyst to track performance metrics for Development Innovations Departments.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education Minimum Bachelors Degree required.
Work Experience At least 5 years work experience in clinical research required.
Proven knowledge of clinical trial operations, FDA guidelines, and GCP is required.
Excellent presentation skills to include oral and written communications.
Preferred Work Experience 7 years experience in clinical research or healthcare research related field.
7+ years of experience in a clinical trial environment.
Oncology experience preferred.
LPN or RN licensure preferred
Research Professional Certification preferred.
