ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager, PGS Site HR, Communications & Culture will work in close partnership with NA Site HR, OpU HR Leads, Employment Law and Enterprise HR to ensure HR programs are delivered and aligned with business strategies along with HR priorities.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Strategize with leaders on initiatives related to organizational design, talent development, succession planning, culture development and colleague experience at the site.
* Support the PGS HR Site Leader and the site leadership team in the development and execution of internal communications strategies.
* Develop and edit content for internal communications utilizing site newsletters, e-signs, leader communications, FAQs, and other creative modes of messaging to ensure colleagues are kept informed.
* Help develop messages, events, presentations, and other communication vehicles to drive engagement around Pfizers Purpose Blueprint.
* Lead site culture and colleague engagement initiatives.
* Support site leaders in building their skill to effectively drive performance management, compensation process, talent management, and performance improvement for teams.
* Help build manager capabilities to be able to address employee relations issues and ensure a positive and inclusive work environment and experience for all colleagues.
* Supports the execution of cultural talent management and related TC&DI programs throughout the organization including site Colleague Resource Groups and Colleague Engagement Team.
* Support the sites change management strategy developing proactive communication strategies focused to engage all levels of the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* BA/BS in Human Resources / Communications or related field required.
* Minimum 5 years of Human Resource generalist experience which included responsibility for internal communications.
* Must be a strategic thinker with a talent for developing messages, events, presentations and other communications vehicles to drive colleague engagement and experience.
* Must be experienced in supporting and coaching managers.
* Solid expertise in HR technical proficiencies and core HR competencies with experience in coaching and driving process improvements
* Experience in other aspects of corporate communications including media relations, crisis management and executive positioning.
* Commitment to editorial excellence, including precision and timeliness.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team environment.
* Experience managing employee relations matters, and in coaching managers through performance-related issues.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond back in a timely manner.
* Project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills required along with strong process skills. Any type of continuous improvement experiences a plus.
* A strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
* Ability to challenge a manager's perspective when it is in the best interest of Pfizer.
* Ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner with high quality.
* Ability to learn and understand the business and is motivated to continue learning.
* Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Experience in performance management, process management, and coaching.
* Ability to analyze information and provide guidance and solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's Degree desired
* Experience in Labor Relations and/or exposure working in a blended workforce of Union/non-Union workforce is a plus.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

* Travel required between the Brentwood/Westport locations with limited travel outside of metro STL, MO.
