Description
A Processing Center Processor is responsible for processing various types of merchandise for stores by following brand standards. Process, pick, pack, or back stock merchandise according to procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processes (de-trash, sensor, fold, hang, pack merchandise to be floor-ready and maintains processing center to brand standards
* Assists with other projects as needed including markdowns, re-tickets and mark out of stock process
* Understands and adheres to brand standards
* Assists with maintenance of processing center including merchandise and non-merchandise to enable efficient replenishment
* Maintains the standards for the appearance of the processing center by completing daily and monthly cleaning
* Comprehends and follows written, verbal and computer-delivered direction
* Utilizes math skills to verify quantities, make adjustments, fill out worksheets and complete order paperwork correctly
Qualifications
* Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem solving skills
* Knowledge of PC's and software and the ability to quickly learn new systems
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Previous experience in retail store or warehouse environment helpful
* Must maintain flexible schedule availability
* Ability to meet productivity standards after successfully completing training
* Must be a team player and able to work well with others
* Complies with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting to ensure a safe work environment
* Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
* Ability to periodically lift up to 25 pounds
* Reports to warehouse supervisor
