The role we are looking to fill is a Business Development Associate will work with an established team of financial advisors at J.P. Morgan Securities servicing high-net-worth individuals within J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management. We are looking for someone whose main focus is to become a Financial Advisor within the team. The role will be incorporated into a 30-month program that includes individual, group, and self-learning and this person will be held to new client acquisition metrics. Success requires diverse and talented people who are excited about being a team player and can apply critical l thinking skills in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making outgoing contact to clients and prospective clients.
This candidate will be responsible for delivering and driving new business acquisition and sales team support, including but not limited to:
* Working with Financial Advisors to identify prospective clients; develop target pipelines, contact prospective clients, and schedule meetings with pipeline to initiate new business
* Taking part in the creation of marketing materials for prospective clients, providing business development support for generating new business as well as creating and expanding prospect lists
* Conducting research on and analysis on listed securities, alternative investments, etc., as well as creating and managing reporting tools used to improve processes across all business functions including marketing, servicing, and portfolio risk management.
* Will help Financial Advisors research financial markets through data analysis, execute complex transactions, and develop deep relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications:
* Strong desire to understand the Wealth Management business, in particular banking and investment products; Previous sales experience a plus
* Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, take initiative, have strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, and be prepared to transition into a commission-based sales role
* Entrepreneurial, motivated, and willing to be coached
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Series 7 and 66 required within 4 months of start date
* Bachelor's degree required
