The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a System Validation Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.
Candidates being hired for Phase 1
This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.
Intel is seeking an Engineer with both hardware & software experience to join the Intel Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group team to validate and debug the next generation of Intel's industry-leading PCIe Solid State Drives. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Debug system level failures in various validation or qualification environments
* Drive closure of product and third party defects with various internal and external teams
* Work with teams across the organization to improve debug capabilities and methodologies
Qualifications
Education:
Candidate must have a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of experience in the following areas:
* Software development (Python, C, C++)
* Debugging hardware or software issues (Storage, Server, Platform or similar environments)
* Development and debug in Linux or Windows environments
* PC Platform, BIOS, Drivers, IO technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the following areas:
* PCIe or NVMe protocol and debug, including debug tools protocol analyzers
* NAND memory validation
* Git or other version control systems
* Continuous integration and agile methodologies
