Job Summary

Provide technical input in the disciplines of civil, mechanical, electrical and controls engineering, through various phases of large solar project construction and execution.

* Candidate may be involved in engineering reviews and assessments assigned by project managers and/or technical leads.
* Candidate may review detailed engineering drawings and verify technical contract scope.
* Candidate may review detailed engineering drawings and verify construction adherence during field implementation.
* Candidate will support lead engineers in researching and answering technical questions as requested.
* Candidate may perform various support functions for various stages of major projects including construction management, site development, permitting support (air, water, state, local, etc...), scope development, contract negotiations (equipment, engineering or EPC engineering, procurement, and construction contracts), construction activities, construction schedule, commissioning and transition to commercial operation.

Projects are generally large, complex solar projects and could involve smaller improvement projects at existing solar generating facilities.

* Candidate will be expected to utilize fundamental engineering principles to perform calculations, analysis, research tasks, or problem solve.
* Candidate will be expected to be learn and become familiar with techniques, approaches, and practices used to evaluate options and provide recommendations.
* Candidate will be expected to coordinate with experienced managers, project leaders, engineers, safety and environmental personnel, and contractor site teams to develop professional engineering working knowledge.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

* Must be enrolled in an Engineering degree program from an ABET accredited Engineering program at a four year or post-graduate college or university
* Graduation date of spring 2022 or later
* Candidates must have a 3.0 minimum GPA
