Position Overview:

This position will report to the Vice President who oversees the total Target account and manages senior relationship call points.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the beverage portfolio at Target.
* Complex selling experience with proven ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs & key incentives.
* Develop and execute a customer focused, price/pack architecture that grows the entire portfolio in a sustainable, profitable manner.
* Lead Collaboration and cross-functional team - partners with cross-functional team members in marketing, finance, insights and supply chain to analyze business performance, shape initiatives and sell/implement them effectively across the system.
* Own the relationship for the categories with the Coca-Cola Bottling System.
* Exceptional Influencing and Persuasion Skills ability to facilitate and accelerate the business relationship.

Education:

* Bachelors degree in business or related business experience required.

Experience:

* Nielsen or IRI knowledge.
* Negotiation training.
* Understanding of financial accounting.
* Coca-Cola Systems and business development planning experience.
* Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems, business models (warehouse, DSD).
* Min 7 years sales/marketing/account management/retail experience in large consumer goods organization or retailer with increased responsibility.
* Shopper Marketing or eCommerce experience.

Function Specific Activities The following is a list of top Function-Specific activities performed in the job.

* National Call Point for Target beverage categories & contract negotiations. Dynamic growth customer with centralized category decision makers.
* Conduct regular stewardship reviews with customer in order to build and maintain strong relationships with key members of the customers organization. Reaffirm strategies linked to needs and steward the business and value created for the customer by The Coca-Cola Company.
* Collaborate with customer to identify and develop promotions and possible new beverage categories that align to customer brand and account strategy.
* Uses Collaborating for Value & Collaborative Business Planning approach to understand customer business needs, issues faced and opportunities with various customer buyers in order to develop viable solutions.
* Develops and implements Long Term & Annual Business Plans and associated forecast volume, revenue and expense. Acts as system-wide expert on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy of customer.
* Aligns key strategies and initiatives to deliver both Target and Coca-Cola growth. Generates system alignment to deliver customer business plan across bottler territories.
* Acts as a system-wide customer expert to ensure that The Coca-Cola System understands customer(s) objectives, strategies, positioning, and needs and that Company programs are consistent with their needs.
* Oversees national programs & coordinate execution with Sales Development Managers. Manages overall funding & customer payments.
* Prepare and review performance updates for team in order to identify variances from plan and determine adjustments for delivering commitments.
* Vision and strategic thinking to anticipate future needs and recommend business building ideas that will drive the business.
* Foster collaborative partnership with eCommerce merchant, CCNA business leads, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, bottling partners, and digital/eCommerce experts to analyze business performance, shape initiatives and sell/implement them effectively across the system.
