CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Compliance and Integrity group. We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to be responsible for the design, implementation, analysis, management and reporting for our enhanced trade surveillance system and to support the development of key program initiatives. You will be responsible for monitoring firm and client trading activity to detect potential market abuse/manipulation practices that may violate regulatory or internal policies. You must be able to work independently, perform under pressure, multitask with tight deadlines and adapt to a fast paced environment. Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and prioritization skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and complete tasks within or prior to deadline are essential.

This position has been created to assist the Global Trade Program Director, CHS Inc., and the Chief Compliance Officer, CHS Hedging, in implementing and maintaining a mature compliance program in line with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), National Futures Association (NFA) and exchange regulations and guidance. This individual will serve as the primary administrator of our trade surveillance system and will partner closely with business and compliance unit employees in support of shared goals, initiatives and regulatory requirements. This role will participate in ad hoc requests, special projects and regulatory exams and other inquires, including requests from business unit leaders and internal/external audit.

You will:

* Manage the trade surveillance system, including monitoring markets to detect anomalies, evaluating alerts, reporting, user provisioning and maintaining current procedures.
* Identify, triage, escalate and remediate systems alerts, including reporting to senior management, compliance and legal as appropriate.
* Assist in the design, implementation and execution of a monitoring and auditing program for trade surveillance.
* Help establish, implement and maintain effective compliance training programs to ensure CHS employees and contractors have received required compliance training, in support of CHSs Leadership Expectations and building a compliant culture.
* Serve as a resource to the business to ensure an appropriate level of understanding across the business of what is required to comply with regulations.
* Provide support regarding various compliance issues related to trade surveillance or trading in general.
* Establish effective business relationships including fostering an environment of collaboration and assisting with remediation, internal and external audits, examination, regulatory inquiry and investigation requests.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies.
* Assist in monitoring compliance regulatory and legislative changes affecting compliance programs and alert appropriate parties internally.
* Participate on strategic projects focused on enhancing our capabilities by leveraging SAP or other systems.
* Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Basic Qualifications: (required)

* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in commodity or financial markets trading or trade surveillance
* Advanced understanding electronic execution and trade flow
* Excellent research and analytical skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
* Adaptable to change and able to prioritize multiple priorities under pressure
* Able to work effectively and meet goals both as part of a team and independently
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: (desired)

* Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules and regulations such as CFTC, NFA, CME etc.
* Specifically, exchange rules on manipulative and disruptive trade practices
* 1 + years trade surveillance experience
* CCEP or other compliance/ethics certification
* Data analytics experience
* Experience interpreting and communicating complex regulatory requirements
* Series 3 license or ability to obtain
* Policy development
