Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of Talent Management, this position is an integral member of the Talent Management (TM) function. This individual will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of key talent strategies targeted to deliver results for our Technology, Product, and Customer Experience (TPX) organization. This individual will also be responsible for designing and managing talent development programs while supporting the implementation of both TPX and company-wide Talent Management (TM) initiatives. The individual will partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and U-Learn (enterprise L&D; function) partners to focus on solutions which build skills and competencies to meet TPXs present and future leadership and talent capability needs. Strong change management skills are a must for successful management and implementation of talent strategies. The functional areas of focus will include Talent Management Programs, Strategy, Measurement & Analytic Insights, and Project Management. An ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Talent Management, including the tools and processes associated with talent management and HR data analytics. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a refined consultative approach, extensive program and project management experience, organization skills, and analytic acumen.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

* Supports the development and implementation of BU talent management strategies focused on leadership development, skill development, retention, engagement, and talent planning.
* Provides talent management consulting, project management, and specialist expertise required for the research, development, and implementation talent management initiatives.
* Leverages Workday tools, reporting, and analytics as inputs to key talent strategies and the measurement of their success.
* Supports the design and implementation of talent management tools, training, and processes including performance management, development planning, and talent and succession planning.
* Manages the lifecycle of complex assignments and projects and is expected to provide strategic leadership to their project teams to resolve challenges and complete projects within the targeted timeframe and on-budget.
* Leads key strategic initiatives relative to workforce strategy, integration, and effectiveness.
* Demonstrates ability to bring creativity and innovative ideas to the design and development of programs and initiatives.
* Focuses on continuous enhancement and elevation of existing programs, processes, and services.
* Works in collaboration with stakeholders to enable the accomplishment of business objectives.
* Consults with the business and HR to define problems, gather data, draw conclusions, make recommendations and shares analytic insights.
* Diagnoses workforce gaps and prioritizes and designs talent development solutions that provide the greatest impact to the identified business needs.
* Stays abreast of and influences organization around the use of innovative talent development strategies that provide competitive advantage to the attraction, development, and retention of key talent.
* Manages vendors/partners who are responsible for partnering to deliver talent development programs and solutions.
* Champions data reporting and analytics to support measurement and analysis of programs to enable business leaders to make data informed decisions.
* Provides oversight of programs (pre & post-launch) and recommends termination of programs, where appropriate.
