The Griffin, Georgia facility manufactures C27, C32 and 3400 series diesel and gas engines serving the following industries: electric power, oil & gas, marine applications and Cat machines around the world.
Caterpillar Electric Power Division currently has an opening for an Operations Team Member II - Receiving/Inventory supporting the Griffin, GA facility.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
* Use proper safety precautions when delivering material and operating equipment
* Equipment used includes Stand-up Fork lift, Sit Down Forklift, pallet jacks, cranes, brommel, battery chargers, computer, scales, shrink wrap etc.
* Completion of all OSHA and company required training.
Basic Qualifications:
* 6 to 12 months experience in manufacturing environment
* Experience reading blueprints
* Experience with assembly tools
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
* Previous eSAP Software Experience
* Some experience using a hand held RF device to perform functions in eSAP
* Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
Physical Requirements:
* Individual must have the ability to work in a fast pace, heavy assembly, technical environment.
* Work may involve frequent bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, climbing, standing for 10 hours per day, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Shift: 2nd
Work Hours: Sunday - Wednesday; 8PM - 6:30AM
Starting Hourly Rate: $14.75
This is a full time position with full benefits including 401K with 6% company match.
