Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner - Pre-Shop Analysis Planner to join our V-22 Osprey planning and production engineering Team. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between engineers and technicians and work on non-conformances, rework and engineering drawings for the development of integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Position Responsibilities

* Determine category of work on non-conformances identified during CCRAM (Common Configuration Readiness and Modernization) modifications and inspection.
* Work with DCMA and Fleet Customer to determine if component should be reworked, noted but not corrected, or repaired via MRB.
* Intimate knowledge of the V-22 platform to make determinations on rework criteria and criticality of discrepant components.
* Regular usage of Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and Standard Repair Procedures (SRP).
* Determine impact of rework to sequence and schedule of modified aircraft in production line, and prioritize accordingly.
* Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities (e.g., composites, structures), and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data).
* Differentiate production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.
* Knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulic, electrical, egress systems), components (e.g., multifunction displays wing, engine, landing gear transmission), and loadable/non-loadable software (e.g., radar operational programs, inertial navigation programs, operational flight programs).
* Read, understand and interpret engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications)

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

* Minimum High school diploma/GED and/or vocational/trade school training required.
* 1 or more years' of experience working with aircraft systems
* 1 or more years' of experience in operations and/or manufacturing processes.
* 1 or more years' of experience in reading, understand and interpreting engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

* Familiarity with IETM products and processes.
* 1 or more years' of experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).
* More than 2 years of experience on V-22 platform and aircraft maintenance preferred.
* AP Certifications.

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
