Job Description

Mass Co-Brands portfolio risk lead is responsible for end-to-end risk management of AT&T and Expedia Co-Branded card portfolios. The role will drive development and execution of quantitative risk frameworks including associated portfolio risk analytics to optimize risk strategies across the customer lifecycle for the two portfolios. As a Senior Leader, the Credit Portfolio Group Manager will influence senior leaders across Branded Card organization, independent risk, as well as cross functional teams to manage all credit program within Citis Risk Appetite Framework.

* Own end-to-end risk management and drive sustainable growth for AT&T and Expedia Portfolios. Develop risk underwriting strategies and optimize ECM programs / credit strategies for AT&T and Expedia card programs.
* Risk Management responsibility to support relationship with AT&T and Expedia to enable robust growth for the portfolios.
* Optimize the risk reward equation for these portfolios by optimizing risk policies, calibrating risk appetite thresholds, and maximizing value generation from the existing customer base.
* Perform statistically driven underwriting and risk analyses using advanced analytical techniques to develop acquisitions underwriting strategies.
* Leverage external credit bureaus & internal Citi data to develop analytical solutions, and perform statistical analyses using CHAID and other advanced segmentation techniques to identify relationships and trends in data.
* Perform analytics on large datasets using SAS and Teradata and leverage decision tree analysis to perform risk and financial analyses; And, develop customer level P&L to optimize strategies. Identify trends and conduct data driven root-cause-analysis using SAS and SQL to isolate key performance drivers
* Ensure flawless regulatory reporting for the portfolio and drive ad-hoc analytics for reviews with OCC, FRB, CFPB, Internal audit, Fair lending, Internal legal and FCR.
* Lead and influence cross functional teams (Product, DM, Marketing, Finance) in setting and delivering on the vision for AT&T and Expedia products. Maintain active dialogue with second line of defense to ensure resilience of the portfolios as well as flawless governance and related routines.
* Lead multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously through effective project management. Create, update, and track project plans to drive projects through collaboration across cross functional teams.
* Communicate clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audience.

Qualifications:

* Extensive (7+ years) related work experience
* Experience in the financial services industry
* Experience with analytical or data management tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, R, Tableau)
* Superior understanding of risk management and business strategies/actions and portfolio performance implications
* Demonstrated accountability for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/geographic regions
* Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
* Proven negotiation skills often used at a senior level
* Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with urgency
* Ability to obtain support and buy-in across a wide range of internal and external audiences

Education:

* Bachelor's degree/University degree in any of the quantitative discipline: Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Business Finance, Mathematics, Statistics
* Master's degree in Finance/ Mathematics / Management is preferred
