What you will be doing
Our Channel Expansion team in Englewood, Colorado is looking for an experienced Business Operations Analyst to support the creation of strategy by driving growth analytics. This individual will identify expansion opportunities and existing channel gaps and will drive decisions rooted in data. He or she will be expected to engage, collaborate and communicate across the enterprise while helping to deliver on initiatives. Ability to leverage communication skills effectively across every level of the company as a subject matter expert; Experience facilitating planning meetings and collaboration sessions with others to brainstorm and implement valuable solutions.
Day-to-day job responsibilities
* Implement analytical frameworks, analyze complex data, and visualize key business insights into actionable reporting for use across different functions to support overarching team
* Work cross-functionally to understand analytics and reporting needs
* Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting dashboards and solutions
* Provide further insight into DISH's overall strategy by identifying critical questions performing ad-hoc analyses
* Work with management to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities. Reviews and analyzes business and operations workflow, decision process, and business objectives
* Troubleshoot systems and integration issues
* Develop, implement and monitor appropriate controls to ensure defect free implementation of risk
strategies including documentation, review and testing procedure
* Ensure feedback system is operating efficiently; test, audit and implement new policy changes
and/or systems
* Partner with internal cross functional groups in Finance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Legal,
Marketing & Care
* Responsible for additional duties and projects when assigned by leadership
Skills and Experience
Specific qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (Business and/or Finance)
* Operations/support work experience required
* 3-5 years of relevant strategy and analytics experience in a corporate environment preferred
* Demonstrated skills in one or more of the following areas: data analysis/visualization, financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical modeling
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
* Experience building reports for leadership in creative ways
* Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment
* Ability to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing priorities
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability/experience
* Be naturally curious and willing to seek out and learn new information
* Experience in the wireless industry a plus
