Dealer Master Data Program Manager

The Dealer Master Data Program Manager is someone responsible for the management and fitness of data elements (both content and metadata) used across the corporation. This position will incorporate governing processes, policies, guidelines and responsibilities for administrating the corporations master data. The overall objective of the position is ensuring data quality, in regard to critical data elements used across the enterprise operating structure for the Product (Machine) and Service Parts (Material) Data domains. This includes capturing and documenting information on these data domains such as definitions, rules/governance, data models, identifying owners, and aiding with project requirement data facilitation. This position will take on a lead role in establishing and transforming the Data Stewardship and Governance Operations for AGCO by working with the regional operational data maintenance teams residing at locations in North America, Europe/Africa/Middle East, South America, and Asia-Pacific. Initially, this position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Digital Program Data initiatives which can include defining opportunities, prioritizing, confirming approach, driving & executing. To thrive in this role, the resource will have a combination of strong program management experience to pull all the right players together and be a driver to execute the initiative end to end. This position is business, data and systems savvy who is familiar with Data Stewardship and Governance inside and out. They would need to be able to interact with all levels of management but can also roll up their sleeves and drive execution across various business and IT partners.

Job Responsibilities:

* Be a single point of contact in the corporation in providing subject matter expertise and industry best practices related to Product (Machine) and Material Master Data domain governance.
* Define, develop and drive Data Governance/Quality initiatives from the ground up.
* Help scale and develop appropriate frameworks to ensure controls & governance are in place working closely with IT partners.
* Partner with Business, IT, and external Vendors to identify data quality/governance opportunities around Machine-Material Master Data domains.
* Devise a sustainable data strategy that will enable a solid data structure and framework while having high data-quality as one of the foremost priorities, through effective interaction with internal Business teams and IT.
* Advise, train and support business users on Master Data topics such as resolve data related issues, answer questions, and educate them on master data request and enrichment processes and related system use.
* Participate in testing of IT system changes around Master Data systems.
* Identify and propose process or system improvement opportunities around Master Data.
* Stakeholder management and ability to communicate with multi-tier cross-functional teams, get their buy-in, and implement Master Data initiatives across the board.
* Geographic responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and peers in the US, Europe, Brazil, Australia, and China.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience with Data Governance & Master Data management
* Strong Program Management experience building and driving initiatives
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
* Advance expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
* Experience managing business critical data in enterprise systems such as SAP or ECC is acceptable. Experience with SAP MDG and SAP MM is a plus.
* Experience with defining, documenting, developing business process
* Have a Driver personality with a proactive, ambitious and get things done attitude
* Critical thinker and process-oriented expert with ability to analyze data
* Ability to influence & collaborate at all levels including navigating/operating through ambiguity at times
* Experience & proven ability in planning and implementing large complex projects
* Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision

Education:

* Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or other analytical/quantitative major or 10 + years of equivalent experience.
* Masters degree is preferred
