Work Hours/Shift:

Part Time, Days

4 Days per week

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Appropriately answers the phone, directs calls and takes messages.
* Maintains a pleasant, caring attitude when greeting customers and patients.
* Types, edits, proofreads and distributes reports and documents.
* Demonstrates and conveys a favorable image of the Medical Center.
* Demonstrates professionalism and accountability.

* Sets up and accurately maintains files both electronically as well as paper files. Maintains logs, reports and records.
* Retrieves and distributes mail daily.
* Monitors and distributes faxes.
* Assists with the coordination of meetings, agendas and minutes.
* Schedules appointments for department.
* Provides general typing accurately and expeditiously.
* Demonstrates and promotes high standards for quality and productivity; focuses on results.
* Utilizes available computer resources to minimize manual processes. Serves as a resource person on computer software usage and techniques.
* Adjusts and is flexible to meet changing work needs and demands.
* Exhibits good judgment and time management skills to accomplish daily tasks.
* Is fiscally responsible and suggests cost-saving measures.
* Is versatile and able to assume a number of different duties.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* No previous experience required
* Computer skills
* Excellent communication and time management skills

Under the general direction of the department Manager, this position is responsible for communicating with internal and external customers, scheduling appointments, providing general administrative support to the department and has a wide range of duties including (but not exclusively);

* Answering telephone calls
* Meeting and greeting guest to the department
* Scheduling appointments
* Ordering supplies
* General administrative filing, faxing, mailing, and photocopying
* Distributing mail
* Typing letters, educational materials, reports, etc
