Job Description

Responsibilities

The PACS Analyst reports directly to the PACS Manager and is responsible for day to day archive maintenance, resolving issues, training and monitors quality and data integrity associated with PACS and digital imaging systems. This role provides assistance to the PACS Manager in developing, supporting, implementing, and maintaining Imaging Informatics Systems. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with PACS and all related imaging informatics systems in order to prevent disruption in diagnostic and clinical care. Receives day to day direction on tasks and projects to achieve strategic and operational goals established within the department and hospital. Core Position related competencies include composure, timely decision making, functional / technical skills, problem solving and managing through systems.
