* Bachelors degree Engineering/Business or related fields
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with officials at all levels of a diverse global company
* Ability to work across different time zones to connect with team members around the world.
* Minimum 2-3 years of professional work (preferably in operations/supply chain)
* Experienced in working with cross functional teams
* Skilled in investigating and re-engineering processes, for continuous improvement
* Supply Chain, Lean/six sigma background preferred
* Self-Starter attitude with a bias for action
* Innovative mindset; constantly seeking automation in processes including data collection and analysis.
* Ability to react quickly to changing business needs
* Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
* Experience in Supply Chain software (i.e. Llamasoft, SAP, JDA) preferred
* Project Management skills
* Able to handle competing priorities and assess priority levels
* Creation of standard work/governance (preferred)
* Analytical mindset; able to manage large sets of data and extrapolate to meaningful summaries/conclusions to share with leadership team members
What Youll Do
The Global Operations Senior Analyst for Stanley Black & Decker supports the growth and development of the Global Operations initiatives. S/he will engage with a diverse group of business leaders with the main focus to support the three key pillars of Global Operations: Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience; Deliver Excellence in Operations; Invest in Our Future. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is adept at building relationships and working with cross functional teams to drive execution. Specifically, you will:
* Build design specs and data strategy for enterprise wide Network Operations Center in collaboration with the Global Ops Transformation Office
* Gather data pertaining to benchmarking of top supply chains; analyze data to look for trends and key enablers to promote SBD into a top 25 supply chain. Partner with the Communications team to seek and contribute in external facing forums to help promote this initiative
* Establish cadences and rhythms for data collection for Global Operations Leadership Team
* Support Supply Chain resiliency and responsiveness initiatives
* Coordinate and lead established operations meetings and rhythms including scheduling, etc. (Plant Manager meeting, Global Operations Team meeting, Stanley Production Systems (SPS) meetings, etc). Each meeting requires a lot of pre-planning activity including the agenda, coordinating PowerPoint slides, etc.
* Assist and take the lead in creating standardized PowerPoint/presentation formats for executive level summaries
* Other duties as directed and required by the business that support the team and the key strategic objectives of Global ops including customer excellence, operations excellence and invest in the future.
