Test Engineer/CAM Support

Job Purpose:

Test Engineer is responsible for generating test programs for the Automated Test Equipment using proprietary software tools and the Valor Genesis Tooling System. Test Engineer will work with internal and external customers to troubleshoot and provide failure analysis of test related issues. This role will also require use of CAM tooling data to generate manufacturing tools using the Valor Genesis CAM system.

Nature of Duties:

* All aspects of test programming including generation, editing, and troubleshoot of test files.
* Engineering support to the process engineering team to resolve test related manufacturing and design related issues.
* All aspects of panelization including editing and/or modifying PCB data, step and repeat.
* Generate Drill and Rout programs for NC drills and rout machines.
* Engineering support to internal and external customers, to resolve test and tooling issues and/or generate custom /special test and tooling solutions.

Education and Experience:

* B.S. Electrical Engineering degree required.
* 5+ years experience with Valor Genesis CAM system required.
* Have experience with testing and tooling for rigid, flex and rigid/flex printed circuit boards.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be a team player and work well in a team environment.
* Must be available to work extended hours, when needed.
