Role Description:
Salesforce is seeking passionate software Engineers, who can develop custom software for Tableau line of businesses. We are a fast-paced agile team of talented developers, testers and PMs that takes Tableau's business needs from concept to reality. From processing an order, enabling the Sales team, automating reporting to analyzing pricing - you name it; we make it a reality by developing software on Salesforce and AWS platforms.
Your Impact:
* Design and Develop features in Salesforce using Apex (a Java-like language) as well as enhance existing features with a good understanding of CRM business domains.
* Develop and maintain services in AWS, from frontline business applications to backend test automation tools and infrastructure
* Contribute to coding standards, code reviews, source control and release management.
* Contribute ideas on how to continually improve the way we innovate solutions.
Experience/Skills Required:
* Have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
* Strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills
* 3+ years of experience working in an enterprise environment such as source code control, continuous deployment, release management.
* In-depth understanding of at least one high-level programming language.
* Self-starter and can learn new technology and tools quickly
* Can work in a highly collaborative environment.
Experience/Skills Desired:
* Proficient in Force.com (Apex and Visualforce), Python or Java, Selenium experience
* Knowledge of core AWS services (Lambda, EC2, ECS, SQS...etc.)
