What youll be doing

The Director, Enterprise Field Marketing drives the overall marketing strategy and is the primary marketing leader partnering with the enterprise sales teams to optimize pursuits, pipeline coverage, acceleration and alignment across territories and assigned industries. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful history in a marketing role for a software company with responsibilities for programs that reach new customers and expand customer retention and revenue growth within the existing customer base. This position will report to the VP of Americas Marketing. This position is responsible for managing a team that owns a variety of field marketing functions in order to increase Tableaus awareness in the Business Intelligence market and will oversee the day-to-day functions and duties of others within the marketing group.

Some of the things youll be doing include

* Leadership and management of the Field Marketing team including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
* Develop the marketing strategy for the territory and map this to the sales and division growth targets.
* Manage and support quarterly planning and sales alignment within assigned business unit/industries.
* Drive collaboration with sales leadership along with account management teams.
* Drive the marketing strategy for optimizing target accounts within assigned industries based on market data.
* Plan partner marketing programs, working with channel on joint activities.
* Lead field marketing meetings with sales leaders and support field marketing coverage in other sales meetings.
* Measure and analyze field marketing performance against target plan. Analyze sales and marketing performance data, build dashboards, and track key metrics.
* Online Marketing Be familiar with SEO, Paid Search (Google), Social Media, website user experience, online events, and all things digital marketing.
* Analytics Use tools like Tableau, Google Analytics to analyze site, campaign, and email traffic, as well as build and maintain KPI and closed loop marketing reports and dashboards
* Manage and balance field marketing budget and spend.
* Build out and manage team aligned for optimal coverage across the assigned business unit.
* Marketing Best Practices Stay abreast of marketing best practices in all the above topics and provide strategic input on how to incrementally improve each one.

Who you are...

* Performer. 12+ years of experience in field marketing, and 7+ years in a manager role.
* Experienced. Bachelor's Degree with marketing or equivalent related degree preferred.
* Problem Solver. You love tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to get to the best solution.
* Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.
* Energy and Enthusiasm. Customer service oriented in engaging and supporting the sales team.
* Detail oriented. You have experience prioritizing and executing multiple programs and projects simultaneously and tracking tasks across multiple teams.
